Life as a Peon

Haha.. tis is something i wanted to say last week, i mean after working for a week but i've been bz last weekend; have lunch wif zoe, then yamcha wif frens then on sunday nid to help Irene move hse, so i have to postpone tis little post till today.

Anyway, the first thing i wanna say is that i nid time to adjust myself. U can say that Intel spoiled me.. i'm use to the US work culture that when i join Sony i nid some time to actually remind myself that everything is not the same. I mean back in Intel, when they say flexi-hours, they really do mean flexi-hours (or at least i think they do) but in Sony we nid to clock in and clock out each day, and that is something that i've not done since my days back in ACE. To add to that, their break time is also vry different from what i've experience ... ... but it still ok i guess, if i compare to ACE, i dun have break time back then hahaha... anyway enuf of complains i'm now a member of Sony so like it or not, i nid to go wif the flow.

Let me talk about my colleagues.. PS, my team lead, nothing much to say other that she's vry happy looking person.. likes to smile a lot, can really bright up ur day. Then is KP, he's my senior in MBS hahaa.. he's from the class of 1994 hahaha.. 2 years b4 i even went in to MBS hahaha. Next is Leslie... he reminds me of Richard, dunno y but he just do not to mention Thong, my immediate senior, he's like ah Wah ... he's vry good in hardware debug and troubleshoting. HW... well she.. .. she dun remind me of anyone but she's ok, she's frenly and ... ... ... hahah nothing else coz i dunno much about her (not to mention anyone else on my team) and last but not least, Cheryl... when i first saw her, she remind me of 2 person. AiLing (Vincent's fren) coz she resembles her and next she also reminds me of Suyi coz of her make up.. well dun hate me for this but she just do.. hahaha.. too bad u dun have a camera phone else i might take a photo of her and do some photo editing to compare their faces hahahaha.

1st week in Sony?? Tiring if nothing else... for my 1st week, i've spend about 52+ hours working hahaha... wtf... i dunno how am i going to manage the balance of my days there. I usually dun mind the hours but its vry tiring having to drive all the way back to my hse.. its almost 50 mins drive and on a motorbike... it can really wear u out. Well hopefully when i get a car i won't feel tis tired... haha maybe i'll be more tired coz of the traffic hahaha... talk about a double edge sword hahaha ...

MUhahahahaa... i believe i'm using malay for my title... but the fact is, i'm slowly but sure being turned in to a malay. I've joined a company where out of the 5km radius, u KENOT, i repeat KENOT find chinese food. Wat nightmare~~~!!! Althought i've been trained or should i say survived as a malay b4... but after all this time being in college and uni, i've been 100% transformed back into a chinese but now ... i nid to turn myself into a malay again???? hahahaa i'm having a double personality again hahahahaahaha ....

Well i dun actually suffer from a swollen ear, its just that today i've been listening to briefing from 8am down right to 6pm. Although its not a continous "lecture" but its enuf to break u. We fill in the form at around 8 then it was briefing all the way, by HR then by security then by HR again... i pity my ear. At around 4 after the last briefing from HR. I was brought to my dept.

To my suprise.. my dept is way way way way deep in the plant.. it was a good 5- 7 mins walk from the HR dept. When i got there... suprise it look like.. well i dunno how to say.. just that if u compare it to the place where i did my intership, it can't be compared. I have a feeling that i would nid a lot of will power to phyco myself to remain in this company. Like i was saying in my previous post, if given a chance, i will go to penang. I will go there to pursue my little goal... and hopefully it would come true, but that is on the condition that I do go to Pg hahahaa...

Hopefully tmr will be a better day than today and hopefully someday i'll be able to completly phyco myself to accept this working condition and perform. hahaha... to those who are reading, care to share wif me some words of encouragement?? I realy nid some if i were to convience myself about this.

Oh ya.. another thing to add b4 i end my post... there is something that i wanted to tell a fren but i dunno should i even say it... sigh~~ i hate ambiguity. To be or not to be

Work work~

That is what a peon from warcraft3 would say when u click on it... i'm begining my days as an working adult in a few hours time... nid to report for work tmr at 8am and now ... now i'm trying to saviour the last moments as a student. Trying to recall the things that made we enjoy as a student... well i complete my goal of completing the C&C 3 b4 i start work... finished the NOD and the Scrin campain today hehe... i reckon there is not much time for me to do tis kinda stupid thing later on.

Sometimes i wonder... is this the job i really wan ?? Actually I wanted to get a job in Penang. Why?? Well for a few reasons...
1st coz i'm kinda sick wif KL life style.
Then most of my closer frens are Penang fellas.
3rd. Pg offer better pay hehee
and last but not least... ... ... well this i dun wanna disclose =p coz tis is really a personal reason

Too bad i can't get a job in penang... i din wanna ask JS for help coz i wanna get it wif my own abilities n not coz ppl help me. Am i stupid?? but i got my own principles to follow so i guess i'm stuburn hahah ... well i better hit the sack now @_@ nid my beauty sleep so i won't fall asleep at work tomolo hahahaa ...

A tribute to Team Pilot

Taking a break from the dinner and pay a tribute to my buddies in uni... Team Pilot

Its kinda pathetic but i'm actually listining to Eyes On Me by Faye Wong while writing tis post.. its kinda a sad song and seeing i'm composing my pass memories wif my buddies, i kinda feel that i'm having a tear built up.. haha.. worse, now my winamp is playing I Swear by All 4 One.. sigh... my stupid playlist

We've been frens since diploma and it carry through uni. Ernie, Windz, Thin, Deric and i. As time goes by we pick up CCL then Jess. And after our industrial training comes in Meng and KT. Although Meng was our coursemate back in diploma but it seems funny that we hardly talk back then. I guess being coursemates back then doesn't mean that we are close frens haha. Anyway i'm glad that it all changed at uni.

I wanted to put some photos of our previous activities here to remind myself of our frenship journey but most of the photos is in my other hdd and i'm kinda lazy to plug it in haha. Well i try to get some of our memories from my frenster and some of my photo cd.

1st up.. the uni ball.. its not much but its an event tat all of us (most of us) took part.

Result after running away from the gang... our "ah sou" .. i oso wan a chance like that but... sigh~~ Taken in KLIA, we are seeing KaiYik off to UK. 03062005. It was a gud trip i guess... sigh... it started off bad but it did have a gud ending i presume haha...

Next was actually my little sis 21st bday at Genting, which later went to Ernie's hse for cake..
Fatty crab dinner after final exam.. forgot which semester though...

The next thing i remember would be my industrial trainin... we had some good time there.. going on a penang food trip

And finally... our farewell lunch together 11052007.. The lunch we have together as students in KL from now on, all of us will go our seperate ways. May be years down the line i'll look up tis post and laugh at the stupid times we have together as frens...

Dinner (Part 2)

Well after the feeding frenzy ended i started hunting.. snipping form afar and shotting when my pray least expected it... and in the end, i got scolded for taking un prepared photos of them hahaha.. hey its those photos that brings back the most tresurered and memoriable memories, it is the time where u look like u the most, the most natural look... well sometimes one might not look like an angel but at least that the most natural u.. anyway i dun care, i still carry on shooting and sniping whenever possible.

Course Dinner (Part 1)

Well like i was saying in my previous post, my life as an uni student has ended and ytd was our course so-called farewell dinner. I din go there for the food, i just went there for the environment and frens. After this, i doubt there's another such event since all will go our seperate ways n chasing our own goals. Anyway lets begin tis post wif some pictures that i'll keep dearly in my heart and my mind (not to mention my pc hehehe)

First up... my lovely lady frens, Evanne and Justina. The closest girl coursemates in the course. I admit we might not be buddy-close but we are good frens and i seriously do cherish their company, coz they are the only girls i know who speaks english to me... else my english gets rusty hehehe. I remember Evanne was the 1st new girl i got to know in uni and it was thru Dr Lim SJ's assignment (kinda miss him too) ; and Justina... well actually we know each other since diploma but i seems to have forgotten about her coz i was closer to 2 of her other frens if i remember is Stella from materials engineering and.. er.. i forgot(that made me a little "pai sie" i forgot a fren again ^_^") Next up... Ee Liong and TK, who our frenship went from zero to close frens in a manner of 6 months?? lolz.. i din know who ee liong was until last semester during FYP hahaha.. i rubbish, i admit hehehee

Next we went into the restaurant with the idea that its meal time ..

But since the food was not ready @_@. So my fellow generals cook up a strategy and before initializing the attack. TAKE NO PRISONERS~~~!!! Well i meant it literally but hey.. i dun care hahhaah

Well the next thing that happen was a feeding frenzy hahaha.. well it was meal time so i din take much photos until i was full... which did took awhile so keep waiting for updates hehe :p

Its over... all over... muhahahahahhaaha

YES~~!!!! After all these years, its finally over... its all over. No more working till the crack of dawn for assignments, no more doing tonnes and tonnes of tutorial questions, no more pressurised triple boiling notes for midterms, and no more 14hours continous study marathon for finals hahahaha.. its all over~~~!!!!!

I give out a big "yes" after my final paper, marking an end to my years of student-hood i'm glad there is somebody wif me else i would be like an idiot shouting for nothing hahaha..

YES.. a photo just outside the exam venue. Some memories to keep. Like i say previously, going to miss a lot of stuff in uni...

Wild wild day

Well its was a gud n nice saturday evening when i got a message from windz asking for a gamin session. I was quick to agree coz i too wanted to play haha.. got to js's place to wait then got a call from CK asking us to get ready for the trip. I was stonned coz i totally forgot about the trip he mentioned. Then JS was saying that CK came alone and was hoping that we could keep him company for the trip to Malacca.

After dinner it was gaming all the way. We started wif a round of C&C3 which end up in tradegy, then we shift to Call of Duty 2 which was fun since everyone was looking for "WashAquarium" ie me, to kill.. it has become a common name in our gaming circle haha. Then we went for the kill.. DotA. The match?? crazy.. we were on a losing streak.. ccl dun dare to attack and he's using chaos knight, me furion, js blood seeker and thin goblin VS windz troll warlord, meng sandking, kt n. weaver and CK luna. It should be a evenly match game but we din make full use of the game advantages, so as a result, my team lost .. with a hell of a margin but it was ok since it was kinda fun. After DotA we went to Stephen Corner for a drink. Where later i fetch ccl home.

Later Js and CK came to fetch me for a late nite supper.. it was 3+ in the morning and we went to Jinjang for the midnite Bak Ku Teh. It taste ok, well according to CK it taste gud but i dun have much comment on that hahaha ... stupid taste bud. While eating it started raining dogs and cats. To my suprise a vry long earthworm fell from the roof (well i assume it did) the thing was soooo long... almost 13 inches, damn. I saw it slowly moving away while i was eating but in the end it got the foot and ended coiled up in the corner.. pity earthworm. At about 5am we left and gone back to js's place. After bath (ck n js) we were on our way to Malacca.

It was crazy... it was 6 in the morning and there was a hell long of a que, but its on the other side. There was an accident mainly due to the rain i guess. The rain din stop at all and it followed us up to Malacca i think. At about 7 i fell asleep and when i woke up i was in Malacca, i oni manage to sleep about 30 mins i think.. at most 50 mins.

CK was blur.. instead of putting in diesel he went to fill in the car with petrol and i was too blur to say anything about it. Lucky he spot his mistake and oni filled in about 3.7L of petrol before mixing the fuel with another 33L of diesel. I remember hearing from TTL that diesel engine with petrol could be vry dangerous coz of the pressure produce by the engine itself and the combustion by the pertol. Anyway we called Tai Lee (ex coursemate) and he came to pick us up and show the way to his house. There Tai Lee went up to the room and came down ah liang... we chit chat a little b4 leaving (they r still sleepy hahaha). So JuMen and us went out for some sight seeing in and around Malacca.

1st stop.. the red house. I took out my camera n start shooting. Its not always i got a chance to just aim n shoot so i ain't gonna waste it. Too bad i'm not gud enuf to capture those gud pic. I'm an entry level cameraman hahaa.. gimme time and i'll brush up on my skills. Let me share some of my shots here.

well there is just 1 thing i wanna add.. we spend RM1.20 for 2 hrs parking and in then end we oni spend 20 mins there. $_$ but basicall we were just plain boring, there arent much to do there so we decided to make a move, not to mention ck little urge to "go" .

Went to McDonalds for a quick breakfast, i wasn't hungry but i am a little sleepy #yawn...# so i had another cup of coffee (the 1st cup was at TL's hse, his landlord made it for us) after the meal we went for some sight seeing around town again. Not to waste the chance i snap another picture of the town.

and yes.. i dunno wat is this ship nor wat place it is but i just happen to be there and i took a photo of it.. basically the sight seeing din go as well as any of us would expect. Nothing much to see and do for youngsters like us, we end up looking for a cyber cafe for another round of DotA. To our suprise we are unable to find any around malacca town.. -__- We went all around town but still nothing. We finally decided to give MMU a shot. On our way there, we got a call from TL so it was end of our journey to MMU and its time for LUNCH~~!!!!

We had the fishball-liked chicken rice at a shop at Jonker's street. Accodring to them it is the best but i dun feel any difference, even JS is on the same side wif me on this. We talk about work mostly over lunch, basically asking about each other's job etc.. me n js??? we just kept quiet most of the time.. hey we re still students. Oh ya did i mention that Jumen got promoted. He's in a manageral position now; well we think its a scam i mean he's been stood up but still, its a good position. The company is not vry big but he is still a manager hahaha. The 1st manager of DMH and its Jumen.

After lunch we went to Mahkota Parade and later to this new mall just opposite the road. We got tired of walking in and around Mahkota Parade. There is nothing much to see n do there. Some of the guys manage to fool around wif the sony camera sales girl whom did kinda remind me of Veron, same hair style, same face shape but its not her. Anyway at that new mall, we came across a fashion show. Its on wedding gowns and we just sat there n watch the whole thing.. Just imagine a bunch of guys just sitting there n watchin the show, and none of us is planing for a wedding yet hahahaa... anyway one of the model did catch our eyes not to mention the dress she was wearing do look good, i prefer that dress more over the others.. dunno y but i just feel like it.

anyway after the show it was time for good bye. CK was tired and so am i, so we exchange good byes n started to go home.. but not before a group photo...

well its been more than 3 years since i last seen ah liang and tai lee. so its good to have some memories of them ^_^. After tis photo it was the journey home.


North South highway on the Seremban- KL part is a vry deadly region. We saw 1 bus, 1 rexton type jeep, 1 car, 1 taxi and 1 bike got involve in an accident and there were 2 guys being covered wif newspapers.. ugly scene. The jeep got hamburgered and the top of roof got pin down.. we wondered how that happen, and the taxi.. the passanger seat door got twisted 200 odd degrees but the car is scratchless... the bus, got a marks on both the front and back. Amazing accident but dunno how it happened.


NO i did not take photos of the incident coz i din wanna have nightmares looking at it..

Well i guess that's it for my crazy day. Oh not to mention, when i got home it was around 6++ and i din sleep till 1am.. so i was awake for 40 odd hours hahaha.. i'm mad ~~~!!!
